Assignment 2: Magazine: Reflecting my Literature Review

My magazine would have to reflect my information in my literature review. Therefore, as my review is mostly sided with the male gaze being dominant over the female gaze, my magazine would have to mirror this, as most magazines are. I would have the majority of my pages featuring thin females, and adverts of make-up and clothes.

In my review, I mentioned how magazines featured women as sex objects, something to be stared at, so in my magazine, I would have female models, as a photo shoot would normally be.

The men in my magazine, I would chart them according to how 'sexy' they are, as Glamour magazine did. But these pictures would not be done as modelling pictures, like females are usually photoed, I would have in-the-moment pictures of the celebrities.
